The narrator of this audio book, Lorelei King, is one of the most successful actresses and voice over artist. She has recorded more than 200 programs for the BBC, including super hero audio movies like “Superman,” and “Batman,” American dramas like “East of Eden,” and “A Thousand Acres.” Lorelei is also a multi-award winning voice over artist for audio books, who has recorded for bestselling authors like Patricia Cornwell, Sue Grafton and Janet Evanovich. She has worked extensively in animation; she provides voices for “Packer” and “Wendy” in “Bob the Builder.”

In other words, we love her, she is great. The audio book is a tremendous success thanks to her. Characters are distinct, accents well delivered, humour untarnished. A big happy unexpected bravo (I had not read on Lorelei King prior to writing this review, although I have listened to a few Sue Grafton books and appreciated her voice there as well) and thumbs up for this audio book if you ever consider listening to it.
