“What a piece of work is a man, how noble in reason, how infinite in faculties, in form and moving how express and admirable (…)” Shakespeare, Hamlet’s speech
Not this time around. Directed by Martin Campbell, with Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Peter Sarsgaard, Mark Strong, this is one of the joke “super heroes” movies. Only a few out of space images, not worth watching it 3D; a revoltingly stereotypical, poorly designed and executed plot, a Ryan Reynolds who should keep his puppy eyes for romantic comedies and stay out of “macho” commercials or movies like this one, not worth watching it at all. Blake Lively has a lot of potential; she is newer, so we can find some excuses as per why she did it. I dread to think that a whole country could have been fed with the money thrown on the budget of this manure.
Is Hollywood the new emblem for trash?! It seems harder and harder for them to come up with anything worth watching.
Guys will want to see it, it’s in their nature… so I had to sit through it, and I can tell you that it was a despicable background for my making jewelry. Conclusion: spend as little as possible and have alternate activities lined up to keep you from snoring.
